Digital marketing - the future of marketing

Have u ever wondered what and why is digital marketing even taking up the main space in IT.
We all know we are in the peak of innovative thoughts. Digital marketing is one such innovation and also very essential for the small and medium level business to grow and prosper.

So what is digital marketing? It is a strategy to sell your products and services to the online global community as most of the consumers have been internet users for a while.

Take for example you run a toy shop in your remote village. In traditional marketing you have to think about the following points
1) what is the physical address of the shop (whether its near to bus Terminus  or in a place where your Google maps does not exist).
2) what is the timing of the shop
3) how many employees you need and their salary?
4) what ways to advertise about the shop?
5) expence of CCTV, anti theft loc
6) your target audience only will be the local people
and the list goes on

But in traditional market once your online e store is up and running you have to think only about how to advertise/market your web page. Simple as it is.

Even if you are rocking in a party, even if its snowing outside or a public holiday ,your estore  will be running and earning.

It also gives u a edge to compete with your domain gaints and give them a tough competition which they would have not even thought about it in their wildest dreams. You can also reach to a wider audience range globally.
